Ken Fortney launched Coda Intentional Entrepreneurs as a free resource for entrepreneurs and small business owners. Coda builds marketing affiliate relationships with professionals to bring clarity, direction, and resources to entrepreneurs nationwide. Whether your entrepreneurial drive leads you to build a large scope business looking for venture capital investing, simply hire yourself after years of climbing the corporate ladder, or break in a new pioneer industry such as a cannabis startup in Colorado, Coda exists to give entrepreneurs every opportunity to succeed. We accomplish this primarily by giving business owners the advantage over lenders.
Ken Fortney owns and operates Coda with the help of his marketing affiliate relationships.
A graduate of Bob Jones University and Webster University, Ken pursued liberal arts degrees in music performance, history, and business. He graduated with his MBA in August of 2014. Also a Marine Corps veteran, Ken pursued several small business opportunities during and after his MBA studies. While operating his own direct mail and marketing consulting business, Ken built a relationship with Ron Davison at Premier Access Consulting in Las Vegas, NV. Premier Access is a research and development firm tasked with finding and matching the best unsecured credit terms nationwide with entrepreneurs in need of small business funding. In October 2015, Ken partnered with Ron to help small business owners minimize their risk when financing a business.
Ken partners with bank loan officers, SBA experts, business attorneys, and lenders nationwide to come alongside entrepreneurs and assist them in their path to profitability.
“My goal is to help business owners understand their ‘fund-ability’ so that they can properly plan their business growth, startup costs, and expenditures. While many banks still offer funding options at great terms, it is very difficult for the average business owner or entrepreneur to secure business funding from their local, regional, or national bank. We are giving business owners the advantage over their peers while making financing a positive experience for both the borrower and the lender.” – Ken Fortney, MBA
